The Opportunity Working closely with the Chef Manager, you'll support daily meal services across our integrated living community, providing nutritious meals to the residents.
Your ability to create a positive rapport with customers will position you well and help ensure they are delighted with each meal service.
As a hands-on and well-rounded Chef, you'll have experience in volume catering with high standards of meal presentation.
The residents are the heart of everything we do and the reason we come to work every day, their happiness is key to a successful overall operation and we are looking for someone who values this as much as we do.
Casual position : Preferred availability: Sat, Sun, Mon 9.00 am - 6.30 pm You will: Ensure quality meal services to residents and any visitors to the restaurant Prepare, cook, present and deliver meal services with high attention to detail Monitor food safety plans and ensure the kitchen is adhering to all OH&S standards Manage stock - assist with ordering, stock rotation, stocktake etc.
Manage the maintenance of kitchen equipment Work with fellow Food & Beverage or Cook/Chef staff to ensure smooth operations What you'll bring Experience in catering/kitchen/hospitality settings (e.g experience in food preparation or Chef roles) Certificate III in Commerical Cookery (required) A friendly and warm persona with a passion for food and great team work!
Current Police check (required, but we can complete for you!)
Minimum of two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required) What we offer $27.07/hour based rate + Casual Loading + relevant Aged Care Award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances + superannuation A great place to start or further your hospitality career!
