We're currently looking for a skilled Motor Mechanic to join our team.
As a Motor Mechanic, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure safety, reliability, and optimal performance.
You'll be responsible for diagnosing mechanical issues, disassembling and inspecting engine assemblies, repairing or replacing damaged parts, and performing routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tune-ups, and lubrication. Working with a dedicated team in a dynamic environment, you will contribute to a high standard of service and efficiency, using the latest diagnostic tools and techniques.

Salary: $73500-$75000 plus Super Task & Responsibilities Disassemble and inspect engine assemblies, transmissions, steering systems, and other components to assess wear and damage. Repair or replace worn-out parts, reassemble mechanical components, and consult service manuals as needed. Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, lubrication, and engine tune-ups, to ensure efficient performance and compliance with pollution standards. Reassemble engines and parts after repairs, including belts, hoses, batteries, and filters. Test and fine-tune repaired parts to confirm optimal vehicle performance. Inspect vehicles to issue roadworthiness certificates or advise on necessary repairs for compliance. Respond to vehicle breakdowns and provide repair services as required. Explain vehicle issues and repair options to customers, provide cost estimates, and offer advice on maintenance schedules. Qualification & Experience Minimum of Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology and Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis. At least 2 years of experience in a Motor Mechanic role. Strong understanding of automotive technology and current trends. A focus on quality, speed of service, and attention to detail. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
