Cook At Ollies Restaurant

A skilled Cook is required for Ollies Restaurant, to supervise the kitchen and ensure smooth operations. Key responsibilities include setting up workstations, checking equipment and premises, and maintaining food safety and hygiene.
• Set up workstations with required ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Check the cleanliness of equipment and operation of premises before production runs.
• Check the quality of raw materials and weigh ingredients.
• Follow recipes and instructions.
• Regulate temperatures of ovens and other cooking equipment.
• Season, prepare and cook food.
• Store food in temperature-controlled facilities.
• Empty, clean and grease baking trays, tins and other cooking equipment.
The ideal candidate will have:
• AQF Certificate III or IV with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in planning menus, creating new dishes, and managing kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements in the kitchen.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.
