Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Construction Project Manager specialising in geotechnical rope access, you will play a crucial role in planning, organising, directing, and coordinating construction projects involving challenging access requirements. From assessing technical drawings to managing subcontractors and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, you will oversee all aspects of project delivery to achieve successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the coordination and prioritisation of resources across projects, optimising efficiency and productivity.
Assess and interpret geotechnical engineer drawings and specifications to develop comprehensive project plans.
Coordinate resources, procurement, and delivery of materials, plant, and equipment, ensuring timely availability.
Collaborate with Principal Contractors, Project Managers, Geotechnical Engineers, Trade Workers and other professionals to address project requirements.
Monitor overall time, costs, quality, budget, and risk, implementing strategies to mitigate potential issues.
Negotiate with stakeholders throughout the construction process, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Develop tenders and contract bids, adhering to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Manage adherence to legislation, safety protocols, and performance standards, promoting a culture of safety.
Liaise with local authorities for plan submissions and inspections, ensuring regulatory compliance.
Lead and manage subcontractors, overseeing progress and delivery of project requirements.
Manage change and implementation of projects, aligning with strategic goals and outcomes.
Establish and manage project plans to ensure alignment with program objectives and timelines.
Qualifications and Experience: A minimum of five years of relevant experience in construction management, managing teams of 30-plus workers on ground stabilisation projects
Strong understanding of construction principles, techniques, and safety standards.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage resources effectively.
Proven track record of successful project delivery, with a focus on quality, safety, and budget adherence.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
