Your OpportunityContracts SpecialistM2P EngineeringTeneriffe, QLDFull-time, permanent positionRole Description As our Contracts Specialist, you'll play a critical role in contract risk management, ensuring that all aspects of claims, variations, and contracts are handled accurately and efficiently. You will also manage negotiations, and supplier agreements, using your expertise to ensure the best outcomes for our business.
Based in our Teneriffe head office and reporting to the Commercial Manager, you'll use your solid understanding of contracts methodologies to support key projects and help the business grow.
Key Responsibilities You'll make an impact by:Reviewing and managing commercial clarifications as part of the tender process, including conducting detailed contract reviews.Collaborating closely with project teams to ensure all contractual obligations are met.Managing insurances for each project.Managing risks and contract disputes with a proactive and solution-focused approach.Utilising commercial contract software to analyse contractsManaging and reviewing credit applications and master service agreements.Handling claims, variations, and contractual documentation with precision.What You'll Bring To succeed in this role, you will have:
A solid understanding of contract terms and conditions terminology and commercial principles.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.A track record of successful contract negotiation and management.Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.Tertiary qualification in legal, business administration, or contracts management.Ideally, you will also have:
Experience in the engineering, construction, or heavy industry sectors.Proven experience in contracts administration, including managing claims and variations.Proficiency in using commercial contract management software (e.g. SAP, Ariba, IFS) and MS Office Applications.Why M2P Engineering?
