Our client is a leading top tier commercial builder with over 30 years of experience in NSW delivering major New Build projects up to $400M.
Operating across commercial, mixed-use, health, education, & government with a strong pipeline of upcoming work and some major recent wins, they are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager for a $100M project in the Central West region of NSW.
As the Contracts Manager you will be responsible for:
Work closely with Project Managers and Project Engineers.
Lead the subcontractor tender process, and all financial and contractual aspects associated with the subcontract.
Develop and implement procurement strategies, including the procurement and management of sub-contractor packages with a focus on cost minimisation, variations, reporting and administration.
Reviewing and processing progress claims, variations, and closing out final accounts, as well as reporting and forecasting for the project.
Lead a team of Contracts Administrators, Site Administrators, and Cadets, and work closely with the broader project team.
Provide financial and administrative leadership, guidance and mentoring as well as establish and drive a team culture aligned with the company's values
To be considered for the position of Contracts Manager you will require:
Tertiary qualification in in Construction Management / Building / Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 5 years' experience in a tier 1 or tier 2 contractor as a Senior Contracts Administrator / Contracts Manager
Proven experience working on government projects valued above $50M
Knowledge of Sydney construction market and subcontractors
Strong attention for detail and proven communication skills
