We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Manager to join our team. Our client is a leading construction company specializing in bulk earthworks and civil works projects across Queensland. With a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, we are committed to excellence in every aspect of our work.

The Contracts Manager will play a key role in overseeing bulk earthworks and civil works projects from conception to completion. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of contract law and project management methodologies, with a focus on earthworks, and will possess excellent leadership and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee contract preparation, negotiation, execution, performance monitoring, and dispute resolution for bulk earthworks projects.Develop and implement strategies to optimize project profitability, identify cost savings, and align commercial objectives with project goals.Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks, develop risk management plans, and ensure compliance with laws and company policies.Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor costs, and ensure timely and accurate billing and invoicing.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, and act as the primary point of contact for commercial matters.Maintain accurate records of all commercial activities and prepare regular performance reports for senior management.Lead, mentor, and develop contract administration and commercial staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or related field.Proven experience in a similar contracts management role within the construction or contracting industry, with a focus on bulk earthworks and infrastructure projects.Strong understanding of contract law and project management methodologies.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities effectively.Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.Supportive and collaborative work environment.Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and retirement savings plan.
