About the Role The Technical Services Contracts Advisor plays an important role in supporting the governance and execution of contract management and administration activities for non-construction professional services contracts. These include contracts with Independent Safety Assessors and Certifiers, specialist engineering and assurance consultancies and advisors.
You will play a key role in supporting contracts administration to ensure CRR is being delivered high quality services which represent good value. You will support good contractual performance through effective pre contracts preparation of scope, strong adherence to governance and accurate records and reporting.
The position reports to the Technical Services Contracts Manager and is offered as a 2 year contract.
Key Responsibilities: Support the administration of key non-project contracts including supporting regular contract meetings, developing, and maintaining contract admin and performance data. Undertake review of invoicing and validation of invoices with the technical teams. Monitor and pay suppliers in accordance with agreed payment terms. Assist CRRDA procurement team in preparing contract documents and managing procurement processes. Maintain contracts records and documentation for the System Engineering & Assurance team. Provide contract progress reporting, dashboards and status updates as required. About You: The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following key competencies:
Contract administration experience, particularly within professional and technical services. Coordination experience in the execution phase of contracts, including governance of invoice approvals in a multi-stakeholder environment Conceptual, analytical problem solving and business improvement skills. Experience in developing and implementing reporting frameworks and tools for contract administration. High level experience with Microsoft Excel. (Power BI or similar tools would also be very desirable) Certification in Qld Gov Procurement & Contract Mgmt and/or relevant tertiary qualifications is desirable, but not essential.
