Contractor Management Specialist Chandler Macleod are currently seeking a Contractor Management Specialist for a major mining client in the Bowen Basin!
Monday to Friday ASAP Start 6 - 12 months Experience Demonstrated experience in the management of contractors, within mining or similar industries; Tertiary qualification beneficial (contractor management, procurement, business, law) or similar with experience within the mineral resources industry, but not essential; S123 and G2 in QLD qualifications and ability to obtain Supervisor Appointment; You will have strong background in systems, HSE and or compliance; Previous experience in navigating Safety and Health Management Systems along with an understanding of the Queensland Coal Mining Act and Regulations; Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, OneNote) Knowledge of BHP systems including Intellics, Contractor Web Portal, TEMPO, SuccessFactors, RightCrowd, D2, SAP/Fiori, SAMS, Webex; etc.
Role Responsibilities: Govern the site Contractor management System in accordance with Our Requirements Contractor Management, Contractor Management Framework (CMF), CMSHA and Legislation.
Advise internal stakeholders on suitable course of action with regards to sourcing, engagement and performance management of contract partners Support Contractor Owners in the execution of their duties as outlined in the Contractor Management Framework Onboard and maintain any required contract partners using site CMF processes Develop, complete and maintain work scopes, risk assessments and CMS checklist documentation in conjunction with stakeholders Provide support to contract partners to navigate internal systems, requirements and expectations Monitor, support and sustain contract partners' compliance to the site Safety and Health Management System Facilitate communication channels for contract partners at site Coordinate issues, settlement & disputes with Supply & Contract Owners/Superintendents Facilitate meetings required under CMF routines Document management and record keeping Facilitate in field verification of contract partner activities Facilitate any change in contract partner work scopes, including changes to supporting documentation and processes Draft Correspondence for Site Specific changes to Contract Review and monitor contract KPI's Participate in contract renewal and variation processes Monitor and report on CMF compliance Actively participate in Field leadership interactions, FLEX and EMS action completion.
Perform high-end analysis of current contractor pool & Identify synergies that can be tailored to better suit the business needs for site leadership roles to implement strategic initiatives for optimal outcomes.
