With 40 facilities across 7 countries, H-E Parts International are proud to partner with many of the world's leading miners.The OpportunityWe are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Specialist to provide support to various business functions in relation to legal, contractual and commercial risk, predominantly customer and supply contracts. As the first point of contact for contract management queries within Australia you will thrive in a varied and busy role, and demonstrate a high level of initiative and autonomy in your everyday work.Duties & ResponsibilitiesMinimise legal, contractual and commercial risk by following contracting policy and risk management matrix in the review of all contracts, terms and conditions.Manage contract life cycle by assisting with contract variations, extensions, terminations or close out.Negotiate with customers and suppliers on terms where necessary, with specialist advice and guidance where required.Manage high volume workload and prioritise stakeholder requests.Manage customer application questionnaires, insurance requirements and coordinate across the business's five operational divisions.Work with the legal team to create and manage a contract storage online facility.Set up and manage contract notifications, including but not limited to price increases, renewals and warranty claims.Perform a key role in the co-ordination and review of various additional legal matters including NDA's, leases, intellectual property and corporate secretarial matters.Continued education of sales and purchase staff throughout Australia to ensure compliance with contract review process.Contract administration and maintenance of central contracts reporting and storage.Remain up to date on all compliance matters which may affect the business.About YouTo be considered for this position you will ideally have:Relevant tertiary qualification in law, commerce or equivalent.Previous experience as a Contract Specialist, ideally in a mining service or operator company administering supply, service and purchasing contracts.Understanding and experience of contract management, risk management and commercial negotiation.Relevant industry qualification in contracts and commercial management preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Possess a high level of initiative and autonomy in everyday work, and able to prioritize and deal with multiple stakeholders within the business.Able to travel within Perth 1-2 times per month, and within Australia 1-2 times per year.By joining our friendly and supportive team you'll benefit from the following:A range of flexible work options including Work from Home and RDOsLocal work - be home every night!Investment in employee health & wellbeing including trained Mental Health First Aiders on all sites and free and confidential access to our Employee Assistance Program, Telus HealthService recognition including a paid day off during the month of your yearly anniversary with H-E Parts and awards for significant milestonesA business with a strong safety cultureEmployee referral bonuses with an incentive of up to $2,000 when you refer a friendAnnual free flu vaccinationsIf this role sounds like it would be a good fit for you H-E Parts would love to hear from you!
