Responsible for liaising with Yancoal's customers to ensure sales contract performance, coordinating with the customers to ensure timely off-take. 2 years fixed term contract opportunity to work with ASX listed organisation. What does your daily life look like at Yancoal? What does your daily life look like at Yancoal? The Contracts & Scheduling Coordinator ensures that all the contractual requirements are understood and are reflected correctly in the Marketing systems to enable the Delivery, Commercial and Planning teams to execute their tasks without any ambiguity in requirements and without delay. This role will also maintain customer sales contract performance liaising with the customers to ensure timely off-take.
Your responsibilities include:
Coordinate customer feedback to the relevant mine site regarding deliveries in conjunction with Product Analysis. Co-ordinate customer contract performance / offtake – including laycan and vessel nominations and post-delivery demurrage calculations.  Comprehensive understanding of sales and purchases contract terms and requirements in respect to all logistics, commercial and coal quality terms and conditions Point of contact for Customers for all Logistics, Commercial and Coal Quality related enquiries. Provide direction to Product Analysis and Delivery team regarding quality requirements for specific customers. Undertake projects to continuously improve the team's ability to provide Marketing and Logistic support to the business.
What do you need to be successful in the role?To be successful in the role you will require the following skills & experience:
Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Business/Commerce, Marketing, Logistics, Mining, Coal Quality, or related discipline, or equivalent experience. Experience:  Past exposure to commodity contract performance management. Experience in Customer account management Some knowledge in Coal Chain management is preferred. Use of systems as functional tools like SAP or other scheduling systems. Skills: Proven organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.Proven ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders to achieve required outcomes.Needs to adapt to a very dynamic environment and problem solve for optimal outcomes. Comprehensive understanding of all Microsoft applications.Strong process development and implementation skills. Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written. Proven ability to foster strong relationships and build rapport with people from divergent backgrounds.Flexible attitude to adapt to changing requirements and directives. We offer competitive remuneration packages for our roles.
