Contract Administrator

Administering multiple Contracts in an effective and efficient manner as per the needs of the client. Ensuring that all aspects of a contract are monitored or managed to protect the interests of the client. Working closely with the Project delivery team to ensure Project outcomes are achieved.

What you'll do?Prepare and request Quotation from Suppliers and Subcontractors in accordance with the project requirement.Assess Supplier and Subcontractor Quotations against desired Outcomes.Draft and negotiate Subcontracts.Review and negotiate Head Contracts.Take/calculation of material requirements for Projects.Draft and issue Purchase Orders for Materials and Services.Administer both Subcontracts and Head Contracts ensuring Notices, Claims and Submissions are made in accordance with the Contract Terms.Prepare and submit Head Contract Progress Claims.Assess and issue Payment Schedules for Subcontractor Payment Claims.Take of and calculate the Price of Variations in consultation with the Estimators.Accurately Control Project Documentation received from Clients and Subcontractors.Assist with reporting on Project status and outcomes.Provide efficient Support on the operational delivery of Projects.Manage the administrative function of assigned projects with a focus on achieving safety, quality, time, scope and cost outcomes. What you need?With a Bachelor's Degree = 3 years + in similar role post-graduation;With a Diploma or Certificate = 4 years + in similar role post-graduation;With Trade Qualification = 5 years + in similar role post-achieving Trade Qualification.Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Quantity Surveying; orDiploma or Certificate IV in Project Management, Contract Management or Building and Construction (Contract Administration); orTrade Qualification in Carpentry.Strong understanding of the Construction Industry and Process of Building.Strong knowledge and ability to scope, draft and review Contracts.Strong knowledge and ability to draft and respond to Contractual Correspondence.Strong knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).Sound knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Project.Strong knowledge of Timberline Sage Project Management Software or similar package.Sound knowledge of Buildsoft Global or similar Estimating package.
