Contract Admin/Project Support Officer for NQS and S Shopfitting Concepts – Townsville QLD

S&S Construction Group QLD are expanding and looking for a Contracts Administrator & Project Support Officer, based in Townsville to play a crucial part in overseeing upcoming construction projects. In this full-time position, you'll handle daily administration and coordination, ensuring these projects are delivered on time and within scope. Role Overview – Compiles and analyses construction data and maintains historical information.Responsible for oversight and administration of construction sub-contracts issued as head contractor.Prioritize multiple tasks with competing deadlines and resource constraints.Foster collaborative atmosphere of cooperation and teamwork, build effective relationships with all stakeholders.Interpret legal and financial terms and conditions, identify non-standard changes, and propose modification based on guidance within the business.Organize and maintain accurate contract records and related data in secure environments utilizing various automated and manual processes and systems.Directly negotiate various contract terms with existing and potential affiliates.Ensure that customer contract eligibility is administered accurately through the contract system in accordance with customer's supply agreement.Draft, review, and conduct negotiations based upon the strategic objectives of the project.What you will be required to do- Receive contractor invoices and enter bills through management system.Receive material invoices and assign for approval to management team.Arrange payment of procurement items using the Procurement Schedule and BOQ from estimator.Capture and manage project variations and credits.Carriage meeting minutes during client PCGs and internal meetings.Raise material PO's and subcontractor orders.Prequalification of sub-contractors to ensure insurance and licence compliance.Arrange payments of critical project items like QLeave and certification fees.Folder management and ensure all files saved on company intranet.Collate final handover documentation and prepare final O&M submission to client.Leadership Duties when required- Arrange OSMP folders for site and review site documents monthly.Assist with trade letting and subcontract agreements.Ensure early Gross Profit compliance on trade and update working budget.Review Cost to complete for ongoing budget compliance.Create payment schedule and client payment amounts and dates.Handle all EOT and NOD documents for any project delays.Client related correspondence including weekly project reports including site images and information.Update and issue project Gantt and ensure tracking completed to critical path.Manage all retention claims for trades and client contracts.Review high level site safety compliance with checklists, audits and toolbox talks. Review and consultation with management.Create fortnightly project budget forecast and ensure cost compliance.About you- Experience in legal, commerce, or construction business-related field is essential.Extensive experience (2+ years) delivering project sourcing, construction background and management initiatives.Professional Body accreditation preferred but not essential.Excellent Commercial, Procurement, Contract Management, and supply chain skills.Microsoft 365, Microsoft Project experience and cost modelling abilities with the ability to learn Construction management software. #J-18808-Ljbffr
