Our team is also backed by Leidos' global expertise, experience and capabilities.Job DescriptionThe role requires an experienced ITSM professional with a strategic mindset to support the Service Transition Lead and assist in the establishment of a mature Lifecycle Services practice.
The role is responsible for leading Subject Matter Experts under an experienced leader to facilitate operational outcomes and alignment with SIAM processes.Primary ResponsibilitiesManagement of the teams to ensure the agreed goals and deliverables are achieved to meet key performance indicatorsAssist in the coaching and development of a mature Service Management team to facilitate 'as a service' delivery methodologiesProvide Professional Development support and drive SME capability skill upliftsProvide thought leadership and tactical direction in relation to ITSM capability needs specifically relating to:Lifecycle Services including decommissioningRelease and Deployment Management including Risk ManagementTransition Planning and Support as OperationsContinuity and Disaster RecoveryCreate, Update and Manage instructional artefacts relating to:Continuity ManagementDisaster Recovery ManagementRelease and Deployment ManagementTransition Planning and SupportQualificationsAbout You and What You'll BringRequiredA proven ability as a team or operational leader in an enterprise environmentA strong ability to work autonomously or with limited guidance towards defined outcomesExperience working with/within Operational teams to transition capabilities into serviceProven problem-solving skillsExceptional analytical skills with attention to detailDemonstrated experience with uplifting or maturing ITSM process teamsHighly experienced and ideally qualified in Service Management frameworks (ITIL) and their practical implementationDesirable (not essential)Understanding of ITSM Operations and EngineeringGood Industry awareness and understanding of Enterprise IT Technologies Infrastructures and their lifecyclesUnderstanding of Project Management and/or Business DevelopmentUnderstanding of ServiceNow CRM toolThis role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold or be able to attain a minimum Defence NV-1 security clearance.Additional InformationWhat you'll love At Leidos, you'll enjoy 12 weeks' paid parental leave as a primary carer, flexible work practices, discounted health insurance, novated leasing and more.
