About Legacy WA: Legacy WA is an iconic charity providing life-changing support and connection for veterans' families. Established in 1928, we have a proud history of service to the community. As we grow and evolve to meet the needs of the families we support, we seek a dynamic Content and Campaign Creator to help us amplify our message and increase engagement.
The Opportunity: As the Content and Campaign Creator, you'll be the driving force behind Legacy WA's media presence, creating impactful and emotionally engaging stories highlighting our good work supporting veterans' families. You'll celebrate milestones, like the birthdays of centenarian widows, and develop meaningful content that resonates across platforms.
In addition to digital and campaign work, you'll also take the lead in compiling and editing Legacy Times, our tri-annual magazine filled with updates from across the state, including local social club news, family milestones, and vital information for our community.
This role is ideal for a creative self-starter who thrives on crafting campaigns that tell heartfelt stories, can manage multiple projects independently, and is passionate about making a tangible difference.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, plan, and execute content and fundraising campaigns to increase awareness of Legacy WA's mission.Create engaging content (graphic design, written materials—bonus points for video skills!) for social media, website, email marketing, and Legacy Times magazine.Lead the production of Legacy Times, gathering stories and information from across WA to connect and inform veterans' families.Collaborate with fundraising teams to create donor-centric, emotionally driven campaigns that inspire support.Ensure consistency in brand, tone, style, and messaging across all platforms, staying true to Legacy WA's values.Manage content calendars and oversee the timely delivery of campaign materials, including digital and print formats.Use data and analytics to measure campaign performance and adjust strategies for continual growth and improvement.Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver cohesive, compelling storytelling.Key Criteria: Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or related fieldsProven experience in developing and executing digital marketing campaignsStrong proficiency with graphic design and social platforms (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Later)Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a talent for storytelling.Strong project management skills so that we never miss an opportunityExperience using CRM systems.Desirable: Experience in fundraising or not-for-profit sectorsVideo filming and editing (CapCut)What We Offer: 0.6 FTE (school hours available)It is a rewarding opportunity to support veterans' families and make a tangible impact.The chance to work within a passionate, mission-driven team.Salary sacrifice options up to $16,000 annually.On-site parking at Legacy House, West Perth.How to Apply: Submit your cover letter along with an updated resume.
