The Department of Paediatrics within Women's, Adolescent and Children's Services is a supportive, coherent, and highly functioning team which is motivated to meet the service needs of our community. The successful applicant will be joining the incumbent paediatric neurologist to expand the service offered.

Medical Practitioners (Public Sector) Award A remuneration package comprising the Agreement base salary, relevant allowances and other entitlements will be negotiatedwith the successful applicant dependent on clinical experience and seniority.
Base salary points range for Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1 at $210,000 through to Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 11 at $288,000 with further salary increments available.
Please note that access to the Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner salary range $291,472 - $301,349 is subject to the successful applicant satisfying the criteria for Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1, 2 or 3 as outlined in the Medical Practitioners (Tasmanian State Service) AwardIn addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Allowance in lieu of motor vehicle currently set at $27,535 pro rata per annum, paid fortnightly (with CPI indexation on 1 July each year).Continuing Professional Development Allowance of $16,000 pro rata per annum pro rata.All other allowances as per current Award.And subject to approval from the Private Patient Scheme Committee (PPS), 35% of Base salary plus on-call, pro rata) of additional payment will be paid from (PPS). If not admitted to the PPS, a 35% in lieu of PPS of base salary will be paid.Other Benefits: You will have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.You will also have access to accommodation and relocation costs.Details of Appointment Permanent, part-time day work, working 45.6 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible.
