Children's Health Queensland is a specialist statewide hospital and health service dedicated to caring for children and young people from across Queensland and northern New South Wales.Position OverviewThe position of Consultant Paediatric Cardiac Perfusion will:Deliver highly specialised clinical expertise and professional leadership as the Director of the Paediatric Cardiac Perfusion Service and provide high level state-wide advice and education to regional healthcare facilities on clinical practice and theory in the areas of paediatric perfusion, auto transfusion, and the QCH ECLS (Extracorporeal Life Support Service).Manage all aspects of the Paediatric Cardiac Perfusion Service and work with other managers in the Paediatric Cardiac Service to ensure a world-class service with the best possible care while achieving the best possible patient outcomes.Provide clinical work leadership through the management of the Paediatric Cardiac Perfusion Service and its staff members as well as fostering professional development within the Perfusion and QCH ECLS team.
