Our Brisbane Telecommunications Wireless and Special Coverage Solutions team requires a Construction Manager to oversee on-site construction activities, manage construction crews and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

You will coordinate with project managers, engineers, schedulers and other stakeholders to plan and execute construction projects, monitor progress, resolve issues and establish effective project controls to maintain high-quality standards throughout the construction process.
Manage project schedules, identify critical path activities, adjusting schedules and escalations when requiredEstimate project costs accurately, track expenses and manage cost variances against budgetPlan and schedule field resources (internal workforce & subcontractors) to deliver the construction activities incl. defectsOptimise resource utilisation, and minimise downtime, delays, and cost overrunsOrganise equipment, and materials to support construction activitiesProvide on-site supervision and leadership to FMs, construction crews and subcontractors, ensuring that work is performed safely, efficiently, and compliant to technical specifications, building codes, and regulationsMonitor progress against project plans, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones and quality of work and ensuring defects are closed out for client paymentBuild a strong high performing team, aligned to our purpose and enterprise strategic objectivesRequired Skills and Experience
Ideally you will have experience in a similar role in Telecommunications / Construction industry.
Proven experience in construction scheduling/planning with proficiency in PM tools & methodologiesStrong analytical & Problem-Solving skills to analyse performance metrics and mitigate schedule risksExperience in managing large, geographically dispersed teams and conflict resolutionUnderstanding building codes, and OSHA regulations and best practices for maintaining a safe work environmentStrong understanding of construction principles, techniques, and materialsAbility to interpret and implement architectural and engineering drawings and specificationsExcellent relationship management and engagement with clientsAbout Ventia
