About the role Condition Monitoring Technician is a key member of the Newcastle Rod Mill Maintenance Reliability team. This role is critical in maintaining and improving plant reliability and will focus on Condition Based Health Analysis of equipment across the plant using tools such as Vibration Analysis, Oil Analysis and Thermography. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing Predictive Maintenance Asset Strategy by providing input relating to Asset health. Other responsibilities included, but not limited to: Manage, implement, and improve vibration, lubrication and thermography based predictive maintenance programs, including maintenance of condition monitoring tools and systems Plan and execute CM data collection and analysis as per schedule Record CM findings and report on defects found in a timely manner using reporting system Recommend actions based on interpretation of condition monitoring data using CMMS i.e. SAP Build relationships and provide technical support to the maintenance and operations teams Implement maintenance strategies and programs, identify opportunities for improvement by using the latest in data analytics techniques Training & mentoring teams on balancing of high speed equipment & laser alignment. As our ideal candidate, you have strong analytical & technical skills along with high level report writing & influencing skills.
