The Business Development Manager is accountable for driving the growth of the business by identifying new opportunities, building relationships with potential and existing clients, and ensuring the successful delivery of IT services aligned with customer needs and expectations. They play a key role in managing client accounts, overseeing the execution of contracts, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This role will have a focus on going after new business within the NSW public sector.
Develop and execute strategies to meet business growth targets, including identifying new clients, upselling existing clients, and expanding service offerings. Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts. Work closely with operational teams, including service delivery, technical experts, and support teams, to ensure seamless execution of services and solutions that meet client requirements. Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company's products, services, and value propositions to effectively communicate and position solutions that align with client needs. Follow local and national industry trends to anticipate market shifts, discover new business opportunities, and stay ahead of competitors. What you'll bring? Qualifications in IT, Business Management or proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the IT industry. Previous experience with an IT reseller or managed services provider, with an established network of customers and vendors. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders. Proven track record in developing and executing successful business development strategies. Solid experience leading and managing diverse operational support teams. Goal-oriented with a strong focus on achieving targets and driving business growth. A passion for learning new technologies and continuously developing your professional skills. What else do you need to apply? We want to learn more about you, therefore a relevant cover letter is required for your application to be considered. Start within a 4-week time frame, ideally. Travel on-site to our office in Alexandria and client sites. Must be an Australian resident available to work full time without restrictions. Compnow will provide and require all successful applicants to complete a current National Police Check as well as a new or updated state-based Working With Children Check.
