Compliance Manager position with a well-known facilities management business, influencing and driving compliance across the business.
The Position & The OrganisationThis organisation has been in operation since 2003 and is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance across its operations in Australia and New Zealand. With a growing team of +4,000, they pride themselves on fostering new and long-term relationships with clients, employees, and suppliers.
They are now looking for a Compliance Manager to join their team based in Brisbane's inner east. This role will involve working within an established team of four and reporting to the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer. Your main duties will include maintaining and enhancing our integrated management system, leading compliance initiatives, and supporting our operations. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our commitment to quality and safety, supporting internal teams, managing supplier compliance, and developing robust documentation practices.
Key Responsibilities:Maintain and update the integrated management systems (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001).Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Donesafe, our online safety system.Oversee document control, including developing and reviewing essential documents.Monitor public liability/property damage data and generate analytical reports.Manage supplier accreditation and ensure compliance through due diligence.Coordinate with brokers on property damage and motor vehicle claims.Support contractor pre-qualification and compliance using tools like Cm3 and Avetta.Oversee the staff tracking system (Nexus Webeye) for data-driven improvements.Prepare detailed compliance reports and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.Skills and ExperienceExperience with integrated management systems (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001).Proficiency in online HSE software (Donesafe) and data tools (Excel, Power BI).Familiarity with contractor pre-qualification systems (e.g., Cm3, Avetta).Strong communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.Relevant tertiary qualifications; lead auditor certification is a plus.How to ApplyIf this position aligns with your next potential career move, please apply directly using the link below and submit an updated copy of your resume.
