As a Compliance Manager in the CCE team within the Compliance Risk Management function, you will keep track of the local implementation of all local regulatory requirements and ING compliance by means of issue tracking, monitoring, Risk Dashboards and other risk specific reporting (regulatory and internal reporting) to internal stakeholders, including ING's Head Office Compliance function. Reporting to the Team Leader – CCE, you will be proactive in managing the development, maintenance, review and continuous improvement of ING's ASIC reporting and its breach management policies and procedures.
In this role, you will also support Compliance in pro-actively developing, managing and maintaining a best practice compliance framework, and enhancing systems and processes to ensure that ING is compliant by desire and design.
What you'll do Advising on issues relating to ING's AFSL, ACL and ADI licences; Providing SME advice and support to business partners on regulatory and industry code obligations (eg ASIC Act, Corporations Act, NCCP Act and Spam Act); Providing compliance support to projects; Building and maintaining a database of best practice advices to support the CCE team in providing high quality consistent advice; Provide support to the Advisory team including continuous improvement of process and procedures; Providing advice on improvement of compliance processes and procedures including ASIC reporting and Fit & Proper assessment procedures; Providing training to the business. What we're looking for 10+ years of relevant experience in compliance or consulting roles in the financial services industry Experience working for either ASIC or APRA would be highly desirable Strong influencing skills and ability to ensure optimal outcomes are achieved whilst managing stakeholder expectations Excellent understanding of operational risks and control frameworks in retail Banking Experience in investigations into non compliance with financial sector legislation, specifically root cause analysis. Ability to lead investigations and provide a high standard of written / verbal communication to senior leadership Solid understanding of relevant legislation. What's in it for you?
