Compliance and Information Management OfficerAre you looking for a role where you can work independently and flexibly while making a difference in our community? Berrigan Shire Council is looking for a detail-oriented, self-starter to join our new Governance team.
As our new Compliance and Information Management Officer, you will be at the heart of our governance framework, developing systems and monitoring compliance to ensure we meet our obligations to the community and other levels of government. You will work closely with the CEO and other managers to improve our accountability and performance.
This role would be ideal for a person looking to return to the workforce with flexible work options available. While experience is welcome, we will train and support a candidate with the right qualities.
What You'll Be DoingCompliance: Making sure our community can be confident we meet our requirements under legislation and Council policy.Records: Maintenance of a robust system that maintains privacy and confidentiality.Access to information: Ensure our community can find relevant public information quickly and easily.Monitoring and review: Working with our management team to monitor and review our policies, plans and reports.What You'll NeedA valid Australian Driver's Licence. Excellent attention to detail and demonstrated ability to work independently.
