Opportunity to join our market leading property team as a legal assistant supporting a team of 4. About the Team Our property practice is amongst the leading property practices in Australia. The Sydney office of our property practice consists of 6 partners and over 25 staff members. This busy team works with clients on a range of matters including capital transactions and leasing (landlord and tenant) for a range of asset classes, as well as land acquisitions and sales for developments. About the Role Our Sydney team is currently seeking a legal assistant to work with Partner Adrianna Witkowski and her team. This role has arisen following an internal promotion. By way of example, the work that you would undertake will include: Drafting routine correspondence and documentation including the use of precedents, style guides and firm standards Managing emails, diaries and voicemails for the team File and team organisation E-lodgement of documents Production of PowerPoint presentations and assisting in the organisation of seminars and events Preparation of bills and dealing with billing queries from clients Assisting with processing of expenses claims Opening and closing files (including archiving) Ordering general property searches

About You The ideal candidate will be early in their legal assistant career and seeking a team where you will have the opportunity to develop and grow your career. Exposure to supporting a legal and/or property team would be beneficial but is by no means essential. In particular, we are seeking a candidate with the following attributes: Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint Experience with end of month billing (Aderant experience will be highly regarded) Able to communicate in a professional manner with clients and colleagues Active team member, who is able to autonomously complete tasks and assist others to complete tasks Develops good working relationships Excellent literacy Strong attention to detail Plans and prioritises work to meet deadlines Possesses a strong work ethic and enthusiasm for their work and uses their initiative Uses discretion and deals with sensitive information appropriately Experience with PEXA is not essential but would be considered advantageous
