About the RoleAre you a dedicated and knowledgeable Environmental specialist with a strong focus on compliance? Join a well-established team where you will be responsible to ensure that the lithium operations adhere to all environmental laws and regulations, implementing sustainable practices, and mitigating environmental risks. This role requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for environmental protection.Key CriteriaAs the successful candidate for the role of Compliance Specialist, you will meet the following criteria; Ensure the company complies with all relevant environmental regulations and standards (local, state, and federal) specific to lithium extraction and processing.Monitor changes in environmental legislation and update company policies and procedures accordingly.Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.Prepare and submit required environmental reports and documentation to regulatory agencies.Conduct environmental risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.Respond to environmental emergencies and incidents, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.Maintain and update environmental emergency response plans.Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as regulatory affairs, chemistry, biology, or engineering.Minimum of 4 years of experience in regulatory affairs, preferably in the environmental industry.Certification in environmental management (e.g., ISO 14001) is a plus.Delivering approvals EPBC, EP Act part IV&V, Mining act and international regulations.What's on Offer?A culture drive company that allows individuals to foster their ideas.Diverse workplace that promotes inclusion and flexibility.Our ClientThe top producer of lithium mineral concentrate in the world, contributing to the clean energy revolution.About UsTitan Recruitment has been delivering complete, innovative and effective recruitment solutions across Australia for over two decades and is recognised as a leading Engineering and Technology recruitment and contracting specialist.
