Council Governance And Policy Officer

PERSOLKELLY has partnered with a government organisation seeking a full time permanent Governance and Policy Officer.

What You Will Do

Provide administrative support to internal stakeholders and elected officials.
Prepare and coordinate meeting processes, agendas and minutes.
Facilitate the development and review of Council policies to comply with legislative requirements.
Provide research, and report, and policy preparation assistance.
Support Council Governance Policy, Procedure, and general document management.
Provide research, and report preparation assistance
Ensure appropriately reviewed and monitored procedures and practices
Rostered outside working hours to accommodate council meetings.

About You

Experience preparing Agendas and Minutes in accordance with the Local Government Act.
Able to work occasional rostered outside working hours to accommodate council meetings
Demonstrated experience in an administrative role in local government.
High attention to detail in a busy environment.
