The McKinnon Basketball Association operates its Domestic competition across 8-11 venues (16-19 courts) each weekend. The Competitions & Facility Coordinator will be responsible for the smooth operation of our domestic and VJBL competition. This will involve venue set up, trouble shooting and venue pack up on Friday, Saturday and Sunday's during domestic and VJBL season.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Friday
Setup of each venue as required for Friday night VJBL games and weekend domestic competition
Drop off all game day equipment to locations as specified and set up where required
Assist Venue Managers across all venues on Friday nights and problem solve any operational issues
Ensure all games are upload on iPads and all correct VJBL paperwork is completed and sent to Basketball Victoria on Friday night
Saturday & Sunday
Trouble shoot any issues across all domestic venues
Ensure venues are well presented and have sufficient items in checklist for game day (canteen stock, first aid; towels, blood kits, sufficient balls, ball pumps, paper towels, ipad chargers).
Ensure all equipment is in working order and report back to MBA for ordering or replacement
Ensure ipads are charged and games uploaded.
Organise bags for games - ensure paperwork is restocked. eg. Ref sheets, manual score sheets.
Liase with venue managers over the weekend and handle any issues which arise.
Replace any emergency items, venues require for game day management.
Assist at games if there is an issue and there is no supervisor.
Emergency venue manager - may be required to set and pack venues.
Assist with pack set up Friday night and pack up Sunday night returning all equipment to the MBA office.
Purchase canteen stock as required
Driver's Licence required
WWC required
To complete all other duties as directed by the Competitions Administrator or General Manager. These duties may not be specifically mentioned in this Position Description, but they will be within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying positions at this classification level.

: MBA Venues: 7.30am - 3.30pm
Sunday
: MBA Venues: 7.30am - 11.30am then 5pm - 9pm
