Ensure adherence to food safety standards (HAACP) and maintain high hygiene protocols in the kitchen. Champion the use of local, seasonal, and plant-forward ingredients, working with vendors for sustainable sourcing. Lead and inspire a small team fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture. Build strong relationships with clients and vendors to ensure a consistent supply of top-quality ingredients. Drive cost efficiency, reduce waste, and collaborate with front-of-house teams for seamless service delivery. The Person: Minimum 5 years of senior culinary experience, particularly in a café-style environment. Passionate about staying ahead of evolving food trends within the café scene. Deep knowledge of food safety protocols (HAACP) and hygiene standards. Committed to sustainability and the use of locally sourced ingredients. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficient in menu planning, development, and cost management. Chef's Trade Qualifications.
