We are seeking motivated and experienced Line Chefs to join our FIFO team.
You will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen.
This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a dynamic environment.

THE POSITION:
Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes to high standards, considering dietary requirements and guest preferences.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace, following Compass Group Australia food safety protocols, including knowledge of HACCP principles.
Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all food.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to manage service efficiently during busy periods.
THE PERSON:
A minimum of Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or Trade Certificate is essential.
Proven track record working in high-volume kitchens, preferably in upscale restaurants, village kitchens or hotels.
A strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and flavour combinations.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, ideally in remote site kitchens.
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure dishes are prepared to the highest standards, following recipe plating guidelines accurately.
Knowledge of food safety standards and culinary techniques in high-volume catering.
