Mechanical Technician

Swart and Sons are a multifaceted industrial services company based in Adelaide. Our heritage division urgently requires a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team.
Your duties will include:
Perform maintenance and repair activitiesUtilise maintenance worksheets to accurately record job progressIdentify and act on opportunities for improvementMaintain a clean & tidy work area free of FODTake all reasonable steps to ensure own safety and the safety of othersActively participate as a team member to achieve team goalsThe ideal candidate will possess:
Experience handling and working with high pressure vessels is preferred;Ability to trouble shoot diagnostic repairsMaintenance of minor and major repairs of all mechanical equipment used for water seepage control and coating equipmentCreating a suitable maintenance schedule and performing maintenance accordinglyExcellent verbal and written communication skills with a high level of accuracy and the ability to read and understand technical data;The ability to maintain documentation of work in progress and to follow written procedures;Capable of working independently with a continuous improvement approach;Ability to use Information Technology packages such as Microsoft Office and maintenance/production software;Dangerous goods and/or extinguishing agent handling Licence (EAHL) would be an advantage;If you feel this role is right for you, please apply now!
Salary: Between $70,000 and $75,000 per annum + Super
