Join us and be part of a team that's shaping the future of transport in Australia.About the TeamOur Operations team works with a diverse customer base to support several nationally significant supply chains. With management responsibility spanning across five states, our 8,500km rail network is used to transport bulk products, passenger and general freight, including steel and a vast array of consumer items such as groceries, electrical goods and other items for both import and export markets. The Operations teams work within several complex and challenging environments, including some of the busiest rail corridors in Australia to deliver safe, efficient and sustainable service delivery outcomes for its customers, stakeholders and the community.About the OpportunitySupport maintenance personnel and project teams in conducting effective maintenance relating to the management of civil assets.Maintain a level of oversight of the preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance conducted by the Provisioning Centre maintenance teams in accordance with ARTC objectives.Work collaboratively with Signal Maintenance Engineers on shared assets (turnouts and level crossings) to ensure the desired performance and reliability outcomes are achieved.Monitor network performance using condition monitoring equipment and trigger proactive maintenance intervention.Perform specialised asset inspections.Contribute to the management of known conditions by inquiring and where necessary challenging thought process relating to priority, planning and severity to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.Participate in the root cause investigations of asset failures and other asset issues to identify improvement opportunities.What do we want from you?Tertiary qualifications in engineering, and or relevant industry experience.Highly developed problem resolution and interpersonal skills with the ability to plan and prioritise.Experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs.Experience in the management of safety.Demonstrated commercial acumen.What will you get from us?Talk to us about flexible working optionsCompetitive remunerationResources to support your health and wellbeing and developmentNovated leasing options, as well as discounts and support programs24/7 Employee Assistance Program for all employees and their direct family membersOur Organisation and CultureAt ARTC, we're more than just a rail network.
