We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to make a difference in our Aged Care clients' lives by assisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible.
You will be travelling around the Bathurst & Orange areas and will need to have some availability during weekdays Monday to Friday between 8am-5pm.
(Preferably 3-5 days) General household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning the bathroom & kitchen, changing beds and washing Transport to appointments and shopping Meal preparation Social Support or Respite for family/carers Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained) To be successful in this role you'll need A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people A reliable team player Understanding of workplace health and safety An Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle (essential) Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential as you can complete this through our traineeship program) Willingness to apply for a Police Check What we can offer you Competitive hourly pay rate + Km reimbursement (96c per Km) + paid travel time Not-for-profit tax benefits so you pay less tax Fitness Passport discounted gym benefits Paid Parental leave Long Service leave after 5 years Additional week of leave for Enterprise Agreement shift workers 40+ Locations across NSW and QLD if you choose to move A values-based organisation that welcomes applicants from all faiths and backgrounds We know you have many choices of employer - choose Catholic Healthcare where you can make a positive impact and be well rewarded.
