The Role
As a Support Worker in our Tamworth hub, you will play an essential role in supporting and empowering people with disability to live a life of their choosing. Working in both a team environment and independently, you will play an integral part of assisting our clients to engage in our after-school program.
Key focus
- Provide support to our clients with diverse learning needs
- Support the development of differentiated learning activities
- Develop positive relationships with our clients and families
- Maintenance of progress notes and record-keeping
About you
If you are a retired Teacher OR a current Teacher looking to get into the disability sector OR a SLSO who has helped students with disabilities, we would love to hear from you!
- Experience in the disability sector is essential.
- Flexibility to work Monday - Friday - casual and PPT positions available
- High levels of enthusiasm, initiative, and a positive attitude while acting with integrity, honesty, and respect
- Ability to prompt and encourage our clients with personal and hygiene care
