The Hammond Care Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference in the life of an older person, right here in South East Sydney.
From sport to art, pets to gardening, walking to yoga, baking to craft, movies to music, coffee to crosswords... whatever you love, you can share it with someone who loves it too.
As a Volunteer Social Visitor, you will provide companionship and meaningful social interaction for older people living in your community.
Our Client in Rushcutters Bay is seeking a social visitor.
Our client enjoys socialising, daytime soap operas, painting, and drawing.
She would enjoy the company of a visitor who she could sit and chat with over a coffee in Greek or English.
Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself.
Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated.
Your visits will bring great joy to the clients you are matched with.
Hammond Care is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements 18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by Hammond Care • We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one-hour visit between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Sunday.
Visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
