Location: Batemans Bay and Bega Community Corrections Office
Salary: Clerk Grade 3 - $43.27 per hour

Join us as a Community Service Supervisor and play a crucial role in supervising and managing offenders on mandated community service.
This position offers a unique opportunity to coordinate the logistics of community service worksites while ensuring the safety and compliance of offenders.

What you'll do As part of the Community Corrections team, you will supervise offenders and ensure their safety during community service.
You will direct tasks, monitor conduct, and maintain compliance with Work Health and Safety principles.
Additionally, you'll liaise with community agencies and transport offenders to and from worksites.
You'll work as part of a supportive team dedicated to enhancing community safety and promoting rehabilitation in a dynamic environment.
What we're looking for Supervisory Skills: Ability to supervise and manage offenders, ensuring compliance with safety and conduct policies.Work Health and Safety Knowledge: Understanding of Work Health and Safety principles and practices.Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for liaising with community agencies and representatives.Transport and Logistics Coordination: Ability to transport offenders and coordinate the logistics of community service worksites.This is casual employment under Section 43 of the Government Sector Employment Act 2013.
Ability to work up to 38 hours per week as required, during the week and weekends.
Successful applicants for these positions will be required to drive a group of offenders to and from designated worksites and supervise work.
A satisfactory Criminal Record Check is required and it is essential for the applicants to be fingerprinted.
