About the Role: As a Marketing and Community Engagement Manager, you will play an integral role in fostering strong relationships within the community as well as with external stakeholders. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement strategies that promote community engagement while aligning with the organisation's vision and mission. In addition, you will oversee the development, maintenance, and communication of the organisation's brand and style guide while coordinating approved communications across various digital media platforms. Working closely with the graphic designer, social media, photographer and videographer, you will ensure high-quality production of publications, communications, and promotional materials. Furthermore, you will be responsible for maintaining an up-to-date website ensuring up-to-date content. This role could be structured as either a .8 or full-time role providing flexible working arrangements.. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop strategic relationships with members of the community and external stakeholders. Promote a strong sense of community and belonging involving all members of the organisation and wider community. Develop and manage the communication and promotion strategy in line with the organisation's vision and mission. Lead the development, maintenance, and communication of the organisation's brand and style guide. Work closely with the graphic designer, photographer and videographer in the design and development of publications, communications, and promotional materials. Coordinate approved communications and promotional activities using all forms of digital media technologies. Review, develop and coordinate the organisation's website maintenance ensuring content is relevant and up-to-date. Skills and background: The ideal candidate for this Marketing and Community Engagement Manager role will bring a wealth of experience in communications, promotional marketing, events and advertising. Event planning and coordination. You will have a proven track record as an excellent communicator with the ability to produce high-quality communications. With a strong sense of community, you bring people together and enjoy working with internal and external stakeholders. Experience working in a similar role within not for profit, education or community-based organisations is an ideal background. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential as you will be leading a small team of creative marketing professionals. A formal tertiary qualification in Marketing and Communications or relevant qualifications and significant experience in the field is required.
