About the opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Communications Officer to join our team to support the Manager, Change and Communication Services to improve employee awareness and engagement with the IMTD Service Delivery Model and the implementation of technology enabled initiatives and services across the department including schools and early childhood providers.
IMTD leads digital transformation for the Department including Victorian government schools. The Division architects, manages and supports the largest technology network in Victoria, supporting a user base of approximately 750,000 staff and students, including the implementation of solutions on the department's cloud environment (IaaS), enterprise cloud platforms (PaaS) and software (SaaS).
About you The Communications Officer will develop communication channels, content, and activities to support the implementation of new ways of working resulting from operating model changes in the Information Management and Technology Division (IMTD), as well as ensuring common understanding of services delivered within the division and across the department. Responsibilities for the role include:
Developing communication collateral to implement plans aimed at improving IMTD services, acknowledging achievements and confirming priorities both internally to the Division and across the organisation. Supporting stakeholder identification, analysis, and management. Contributing to the development of plans and content to raise awareness and engagement of employees to understand and proactively manage the impact of change and to support readiness and the successful implementation of change activities and initiatives. As the ideal candidate, you will: Demonstrate experience and knowledge in the development and creation of communication content and collateral.
