We're looking for a Communications and Marketing Manager to join our team at Catholic Education SA! You will play a fundamental role in shaping and executing our communications and marketing strategies to highlight the presence and value of Catholic Education in the South Australian community.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive communications and marketing strategies, including targeted programs aligned with our strategic goals. Work closely with school leaders, media, and internal teams to support and enhance our presence and reputation. Oversee reputation management and provide public relations counsel to senior leadership. Handle media inquiries, draft releases, and manage media relations. Mentor and manage the Communications and Marketing Team providing clear direction and support to achieve team objectives. Develop and oversee the annual budget, ensuring effective use of resources. Produce and manage content for various publications, reports, and briefings, ensuring clear and engaging messaging. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media, proactively identifying opportunities for positive coverage. About you
Extensive experience managing communications and marketing for large, diverse organisations. Demonstrated experience with traditional and interactive public relations, with expertise in developing and executing strategic programs. Tertiary qualifications in public relations, journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field. Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Strong stakeholder networks and established media relationships. High level of judgment, tact, diplomacy, and integrity. Experience in managing urgent media requests and issues effectively. Experience in the education sector or community-based, culturally sensitive environments is desirable. How to Apply
