January start, 3-month initial contract, transitioning to perm
Reporting into the General Manager Communications, this is an initial 3 month contract opportunity. The role will support a wide variety of teams across the organisation with various campaigns & projects but will focus predominantly on internal communications. This is a true business partnering role that will work with stakeholders to develop content and make the internal communications strategy come to life. The Communications Advisor will ensure messaging is clear and will advise internal teams of best practice regarding communication plans and strategies. This role will transition to a permanent position after 3 months.
The role:
Assist with the development of internal communications strategy
Develop content including speeches, articles, and staff newsletters by liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
Support the rollout of internal branding and advise stakeholders of the guidelines
Respond to media enquiries regarding education sector changes
Play a key advisory role across various projects internally
About you:
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant area such as communications or journalism
Minimum of 5 years experience in communications both writing and developing strategy
Demonstrated experience partnering with various departments
Experience working within a multinational organisation is advantageous
Strong organisational skills and able to work under pressure
Excellent communication and engagement skills
