The Role To support a range of projects across our Building Engineering Team, HDR is seeking a Cx Engineer - Electrical to join our Melbourne team. We are looking for an experienced practitioner to join our global network.
In this role we will count on you to:
Manage the commissioning process:Undertaking technical assessments of project schedules, drawings, manuals and technical submittals.Developing commissioning implementation plan, schedules, reports, checklists, and test scripts.Providing technical advice to clients in respect of project and operational risk.Working closely with general contractor's team in developing commissioning strategies and processes which align fully with project objectives.Managing attendance and reporting of factory tests.Undertaking and reporting of inspections and tests.Attending project and internal meetings as needed.Managing detailed recording of meetings.Recording of detailed progress pre-requisites.Routine population and management of data in project commissioning software.Providing routine progress reporting and final project close out report.Arranging third party sign off as necessary.Review and develop commissioning documentation.Review technical papers/reports before publication.Qualifications and Skills Relevant tertiary qualifications (University or Tafe) - highly regardedGreen Star AP, LEED AP, CSA or LEED Associate – highly advantageousDemonstrated experience in commissioning or facility engineering, preferably working in Data Centre / Health sectorsExperience with equipment inspectionsExperience with Factory Witness Test / Factory Acceptance TestsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.Benefits and Culture Broad-based Employee Shares ProgramGlobal organisation with opportunities for international travel and collaborationFinancial advice and wellbeing programsHDR University learning platform with access to webinars, LinkedIn Learning, and the Pinnacle SeriesRewards program including referrals, long service awards, and certification bonusesCompany paid Annual Professional Membership FeesCompany paid Parental Leave for primary and secondary caregivers (with Super)Employee Assistance ProgramA culture that supports and encourages inclusion and diversity where each of us are welcomed, valued, respected, and empowered to bring our authentic selves to work every dayWhy HDR At HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for it's also about what you do and how you do it.
