As we continue to deliver & evolve, we are looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer – O&M to join our New Energy O&M team.ABOUT THE POSITION ON OFFERYou are responsible for the planning, management, testing, and handover of various site commissioning activities. You will ensure that project systems and equipment are commissioned in accordance with the design philosophy and operational requirements, while also ensuring safety and quality standards are met.Your duties and responsibilities will include:Plan, manage, and execute commissioning activities in line with project requirements.Verify that plant and systems are installed and functioning as per the design specifications.Identify and rectify defects during pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.Prepare and manage commissioning documentation, including plans, schedules, ITPs, and check sheets.Provide technical support in resolving design or installation issues.Maintain accurate records of daily work activities, non-conformances, and other administrative reports.Your skills and experience:Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.Experience in commissioning protection equipment, including transmission circuit protection, generator protection, and transformer protection.Proficiency in commissioning control systems (RTUs, HMI, PLC, SCADA).Strong experience in fault tracing and rectification of hardwired circuits.Familiarity with commissioning of DC/AC ancillary systems, including UPS, battery chargers, and inverters.Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills.Special Conditions:Willingness to work out of hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required.Travel may be required both intra and interstate.EWP and Working at Heights Licenses may be necessary based on project requirements.Please note that relevant screening checks will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
