Our client is a leading SEQ Property Developer who owns a portfolio of built-form real estate assets spanning retail, commercial, and industrial. We are currently seeking a qualified Commercial Property Manager to join their dynamic team and take responsibility for this retained asset portfolio and be involved in future development projects.
The Role
As the Commercial Property Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing their real estate portfolio. From lease administration to financial management, project coordination to stakeholder management, this role offers a unique opportunity to lead strategic initiatives and drive growth within the portfolio.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Gain a comprehensive understanding of the client's built-form real estate assets. Lead lease administration activities, including negotiations and renewals. Manage financial accountability and forecast capex expenditure. Coordinate project activities such as fit-outs, makegoods, and capital investments. Ensure maintenance and presentation standards meet the highest benchmarks. Conduct regular site inspections and facilitate tenant fit-outs as required. Represent the client on body corporate committees and provide valuable input on operational matters. Prepare detailed monthly management reports on operational and financial performance. Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including property managers and tenants. Conduct thorough market research to inform future asset acquisitions or developments. Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications and Skills: Hold a current real estate license. Possess relevant tertiary qualifications in Property Economics, Real Estate, Business, or related fields. Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years experience as an Assistant Commercial or Commercial Property Manager. Showcase strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Exhibit a proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Display exceptional organizational and time management abilities. Utilize critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills. Have an in-depth understanding of commercial and retail property regulations, leasing practices, and local market dynamics.
