We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead a high-performing commercial team on a major infrastructure project in Tasmania.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where you will guide contract and finance specialists, as well as commercial administrators, in managing all commercial aspects of the project.
Our client will support a candidate either based in Tasmania or willing to FIFO and be onsite 3 days per week.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, along with a proven ability to build strong relationships and manage the contractual and financial elements of large-scale civil / building projects.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the commercial team to ensure successful contract management, negotiations, and dispute resolution.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and clients.
Drive the financial and contractual performance of the project.
Provide strategic commercial advice and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
Work collaboratively to foster a high-performing and outcome-driven team.
What can you bring to the role?
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in leadership and negotiation.
Experience managing contracts, particularly in large infrastructure projects.
A collaborative management style, fostering team outcomes..
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
