About the role We're seeking a Commercial Manager to support the interface between Transurban's WestConnex assets and its key internal and external stakeholders.
You'll join an innovative, well-established team who work closely and supportively to achieve strong commercial results and positive outcomes for customers and stakeholders.
You'll think on your feet and work in an everchanging market where no two days are the same to enable successful delivery of the network's program of road operations and maintenance activities and tolling.

Day-to-day, you will: Work with our Legal Team to support and administer interface agreements with external stakeholders and third parties Ensure best practice governance of contracts and ensure that appropriate governance is in place for commercial projects Develop and administer deeds and contracts in relation to the management of the assets Use your knowledge of contract lifecycle models to ensure beneficial outcomes Utilise your exceptional attention to detail on a range of tasks from preparing briefing papers, drafting licences through to key written correspondence and contract preparation This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including: Great communication and interpersonal skills – ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels and in all formats Coming from a legal background, you are looking to bring your skills to an employee-friendly setting offering significant support, work/life balance and career growth Commercial acumen – you see the bigger picture and the part your work plays in it A good understanding of contracts, commercial documents and a strategic approach to decision making Experience of having worked with a government stakeholder will be beneficial If you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.
