Commercial Finance Manager, Personal Care (IPC) ANZYour Job: You're not the person who will settle for just any role. Neither are we. Purpose: Reporting to the CFO – Personal Care (IPC) ANZ, and managing three direct reports, the role is responsible for the financial performance of the IPC business and setting the strategic direction of the business. Your focus is to drive business in year performance, help in the development of mid to long-term strategy, develop product innovation pathways and manage forward forecast submissions.
You will work closely with the IPC Marketing and Sales Directors on the analysis of operational performance and trends. Identify and capitalise on risks and opportunities in the plan and provide decision support to help achieve business KPIs.
Key Responsibilities: Partner with FP&A in understanding and reporting on the key drivers of in-year financial performance, including a focus on profit and sales variance analysis.Key responsibilities in the business S&OP cycle. Being the facilitator of the Integrated Reconciliation meeting, and preparer of Finance updates in Monthly Business Review meetings. Your team also plays a crucial role in the preparation for, and decision in, Demand Review.Work closely with the CFO, FP&A and the New Zealand Finance Manager on the submission of the Quarterly Forecast to the Global IPC team.Understanding, collating and reporting on the financial risks and opportunities within the current forecast. Then partner, cross-functionally, on the mitigation of risks and the realisation of opportunities.Continual improvement of the forecasting process, both in terms of efficiency (time and resources) and accuracy.Help team members with the development of Innovation Business Cases – reviewing inputs and guiding the team on improvements to plans.Work closely with the IPF CFO in the development of longer-term Strategic Business Plans.Operate as a key member of the IPC Finance and Marketing Leadership Teams, providing key insights to cross functional teams.Responsible for the execution of monthly financial controls, particularly across Trade Spend accruals and Advertising spend.Management and development of three direct reports across Sales Finance and Marketing decision support.Deputise as the IFP – CFO, in their absence.About You: You're driven to perform at the highest level possible, and you appreciate a performance culture fuelled by authentic caring.
