Our beautiful Devonport store is looking for a commercial cleaner to join their team. This role involves cleaning of the store and surrounding areas in the early mornings. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the shop floor and working areas are clean, tidy, and safe and ready for the day.
Duties will include:
General cleaning, scrubbing, dusting, and polishingSweeping, vacuuming, and mopping shop floor and work areasRemoving rubbish and recyclable materialCleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, replenishing suppliesYou will need:
Previous experience working as a commercial cleanerMorning shift availability (5/6 am starts) 3 - 4 days a weekPhysical fitness for lifting, standing, and all general cleaning dutiesUnderstanding of health and safety regulations, and use of solventsThe ability to work quickly and efficiently, with strong attention to detailWillingness to take direction, but also work autonomouslyWe can offer some flexibility to suit your schedule. Depending on your experience and availability, there may also be opportunities for you to work in another Hill Street department if you would like to increase your hours.

Pay rates are set by the General Retail Industry Award. The 2024-25 base hourly pay rates for level 1 adults are:
