The Field Asset & Inventory Manager is responsible for driving commercial and financial improvements across ANZ Ortho Loan & Consignment assets (fleet) and inventory. Initial efforts will focus local process implementation to deliver plans to optimize assets to achieve sales & Inventory targets and excellence in customer service.
The primary objective of this role is to deliver service improvements (in regard to inventory management) to improve customer satisfaction and commercial KPI's, support sales team and customer account strategies with asset and inventory allocation and drive initiatives to increase fleet profitability and efficiency of surgical systems.
What will you be doing? Track and supervise infield stock utilization at a customer level to identify opportunities for improvement and then put in place actions make improvements aligned to sales activities.Embed Ortho International Regional asset optimization workstreams into local plans.Work with and articulate local needs to regional Int Ortho Asset and Inventory Manager to leverage resources required for local business growth and asset efficiency.Drive changes in Loan pool management to deliver loan pool efficiency, productivity and flawless customer experience.Provide mentorship on allocation logic and in rebalancing stock within the supply chain.Support the set forecasting effort in consideration of existing fleet efficiency, ensuring balanced correlation between Capex, Inventory, Excess & Obsolescence (E&O) and revenue thru the annual business planning process.Act as subject matter expert, articulate business requirements for future SAP and other system (MoveMedical) improvement to ensure standard business practices are supported and executable.Consult to ensure processes for consignment counts (address walking implants) and enforce to local regulations and policies.What will you need to be successful? Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.Analytical – ability to quickly simplify / critique complex raw data.Experience in local supply chain planning / S&OP processes/ similar role is desirable.Connect strongly with external / internal customers.Ability to drive team to execute on strategies and deliver results.Excellent people leadership skills.Proficient PC skills - Microsoft Office.Knowledge of orthopaedic product portfolio and associated procedures is desirable.Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.To apply, please ensure that you include a cover letter addressing it to Talent Acquisition Lead ANZ.
