About the RoleWorking closely with the Commercial Manager, the Commercial Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the business strategy, financial performance and operational efficiency of the company. The Commercial Analyst will provide essential analytical support, financial modelling and strategic insights, directly influencing key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities Analyse business performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive revenue growth and cost optimisation.Assess the commercial viability of new business ventures, partnerships, and investment opportunities.Provide insights and recommendations on business growth opportunities, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), market entry strategies, and other strategic initiatives.Conduct Due Diligence thorough financial analysis, valuation, and risk assessment to support strategic decision-making.Support senior decision-making processes by turning strategic recommendations into actionable outcomes.Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate business scenarios and support long-term planning.Ensure the property portfolio aligns with the company's broader financial and strategic goals, optimising return on investment and asset performance.Key Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce or a related field.3-5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within consulting, investment banking or corporate finance.Proven experience in financial modelling, corporate finance, valuation and strategic planning.Strong understanding of financial statements, business metrics, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and experience with Power BI or similar platforms.Ability to work independently and take initiative, with a keen attention to detail.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.This is a unique opportunity to work directly with senior leadership in a high-impact role, gaining exposure to business strategy, M&A activity and property portfolio management.
