Grow your knowledge and experience in property portfolio managementJoin a dedicated, close knit teamEnjoy a healthy work-life balance with hybrid workAbout the role As a commercial agreements officer, you will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and negotiating new commercial agreements (such as leases, licenses, permits, and consents) on Parks Victoria-managed land. You will also help manage existing agreements. Your work will involve projects across the state, contributing to the implementation of important initiatives or projects that promote innovation and enhance efficiencies in our service delivery. The focus will be on documenting and proactively managing property agreements, as well as delivering reports. We aim to introduce a new era of capability to the functions we perform.
About Parks Victoria Parks Victoria is responsible for managing a diverse estate of more than 4 million hectares including 3,000 land and marine parks and reserves making up 18 per cent of Victoria's landmass, 75 per cent of Victoria's wetlands and 70 per cent of Victoria's coastline. Parks Victoria's estate attracts more than 100 million visits every year and we are committed to providing accessible, enjoyable, diverse programs and destinations while protecting and enhancing environmental and cultural values.
We're looking for someone with: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in property leasing and/or management of property portfolios.Well developed drafting skills (leases, correspondence and other property-related agreements) and excellent attention to detail.Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment, and, also to work unsupervised.
