Our Group's over 3000 team members consistently strive to make a difference in the communities we serve.About the role:The Commercial Adviser assists the Commercial Manager in managing Pipeline Assets, focusing on contract administration, customer engagement, market monitoring, and regulatory compliance.
The role involves coordinating with Gas Markets and Zinfra to minimize outages and optimize asset performance.Your responsibilities will include:Identifying revenue optimization opportunities and maintaining asset performance reports.Administering commercial contracts and engaging in account management and negotiation.Supporting new business development by creating financial models, preparing contracts and business cases, and managing board submissions for major capital investments.Engaging with key customers regularly on asset performance and contract administration tasks.Ensuring all activities comply with relevant policies and ring-fencing requirements.About you:You will ideally be someone with a deep understanding of the market and environment for pipeline assets.
The ideal applicant will have proven experience in market and business acumen, demonstrating a strong ability to apply insights to drive strategic outcomes.
Your expertise will be essential in navigating the complexities of the pipeline industry and shaping our strategic approach to maintain the edge.You will also be:Skilled in contract negotiation, administration, and managing customer relationships, including difficult conversations.Familiar with energy markets and knowledgeable in gas market contractual terms.Proficient in financial management reporting, and advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for impactful presentations.Having a degree-level qualification in legal, commerce, marketing, or a related field, or at least three years of relevant industry experience, with a track record of liaising with senior management and influencing stakeholders.Why you should come and work for us:Our people are our energy source, and we offer meaningful benefits and rewards that work for you.
